The headquarters of Cia. Paideia, located at Rua Darwin, 153, is a concession from São Paulo City Hall. Occupied since 2006 by the company, it used to be the Santo Amaro Garbage Collectors’ Yard. Gradually renovated by the company, young people, families, community, artists and supporters, today it houses:
- 2 properly equipped theaters, with a capacity of 100 and 80 seats;
- A multipurpose space where are hold classes, workshops, presentations, training meetings, festivals, and so on;
- Café Paideia space, open during the program and run by the young people from the Theater Experience Center;
- Cinema Room, where open screenings, panel discussions, the International Festival, workshops and lecture sessions take place;
- Library, with a collection of plays and theoretical texts;
- Scenography room;
- Costume room;
- Community kitchen where collective lunches are prepared by the Theater Experience Center and the meals of the International Festival;
- Large garden with various fruit trees and living spaces.
